Beskrivelse
In-Transit extends Business Central purchase and transfer workflows for goods received at an intermediate location before moving onward. Purchase documents can specify in-transit and transfer locations, and the configured posting options support transferring received goods as part of the posting flow.
Set up routes for the relevant locations and vendors, including purchase inbound warehouse and transfer shipping times. The app uses this setup to calculate planned receipt dates on purchase and transfer lines; Inventory Setup also includes options to disable backward date calculations on purchase and transfer documents. Transfer documents expose source purchase and inventory-entry references, helping users follow the origin of goods through the transfer process.
The app works with Business Central transfer orders and configured route data. It does not provide carrier-connected tracking or live shipment updates.
Consider adding the Track and Trace app to get constant updates on the goods in transit.
