Beskrivelse

Carbon Accounting brings CO2 transparency directly into Business Central. You define the components of each item — material, type, area of origin and unit weight — and enable CO2 calculation per customer and item. With the Climate Partner integration, the app sends item, packaging and shipping data to the Climate Partner API and stores the returned CO2 figures in Business Central.

For every invoice line, the CO2 is broken down into material, packaging, manufacturing, print and transport, both per unit and in total. Documents can be flagged as airfreight so that air-transport emissions are used instead of standard transport. The calculation is stored on the posted sales invoice when you post, so it is kept with the document.

Recalculation is restricted to users who have been granted permission in User Setup, and a sales order check report helps you review orders for customers with CO2 calculation enabled.

The integration supports Climate Partner and can be extended with other carbon calculation services, so you are not locked into a single provider.
