Finding the right lot or serial numbers to promise to a customer is not always straightforward in standard Business Central. The Find Tracking No app makes this fast and reliable by giving you a complete picture of available tracking numbers — not just what is in stock, but what is on the way.

When adding lot or serial numbers to a sales order, the Find Tracking No feature searches across all available sources — including posted inventory, open purchase orders and open transfer orders. Tracking numbers that have not yet been received but are confirmed on incoming documents are included in the results, so you can promise specific lots or serial numbers to customers with confidence even before the goods arrive.
